The throttle body is a critical component in modern internal combustion engines (ICE), controlling the airflow entering the engine to regulate power output, fuel efficiency, and emissions. It acts as the “gatekeeper” between the air intake system and the combustion chamber, responding to driver input (via the accelerator pedal) and engine management commands.
